Blackpool Centre for Unemployed & Residents Advice Service

Blackpool Centre for Unemployed & Residents Advice Service was created by people who recognised the need for the advice of experienced staff, particularly in the areas of unemployment, help with housing and finding a job. Even such areas as obtaining a bank account can be covered. Advice on Housing Benefit and many other related areas where detailed forms are required. We provide space and facilities for advice sessions with computer and printing facilities. We use community newsletters, websites and local media to encourage people to use advice services and signpost people for debt advice. Direction to frontline staff in areas such as housing officers, social workers, training centres and many government departments.
